has anyone purchased one of these "quick shifts". i was looking for a detailed description but there site doesnt really say much.

How easy are these to install?

There are cheap considering that you cant get much at that price for a pug, but is it worth it?

For what model Pug ? .. I've installed several on 206GTi's and a 306GTi-6 all owners have very satisfied with the result. Very Very easy (20-30 mins from start to finish). See Quick1 or Quick 2 on 206gti.net for tips.

I imported and fitted a Griffith Engineering Quickshift to my 205-Mi16 a few weeks back.

I got the adjustable one which has about 3 or 4 different settings. It is a pretty simple mod as Guy indicated. Fundamentally, all it is doing is allowing you to lengthen the throw of the lever on the gearbox to shorten the throw of the gear lever.

I'm glad I got the adjustable one as I first tried the shortest-throw setting and found it a bit too difficult to drive and a bit too easy to select the wrong gear. Once I adjusted it one setting back it was perfect and felt heaps better than the original standard fitting. Just raced with it on Saturday and it was great

    Cheers
