I should be there in the 504, if only to collect a gearbox from Ray Bell...I think he's planning on coming along too.

    Hi All

Yes I should be there. My son and I don't know which car to take though? The slightly beaten R15 or the more luxurious R25???

Hope to see some people there next Sat!

Hi all, Unfortunately looks like my citroen will be parked at work, where I will be. If things go well, there is a slight chance I might make it, so fingers crossed. If I'm there I'm there, otherwise will hopefully see you all next time.

Looks like we will have an ID19, so the Citroen team will be represented. Can't see us going anywhere that you would need 4WD Cruiserman, so bring your Pug. Anyway, generally Pugs are good off-road vehicles, my dad used a P404 wagon for a farm mechanical repair business for many years and drove it up some real goat tracks.

    Whoops...

They've given me two jobs to do now... that means I'll be very tight for time... and Cotter's a long way out (when you're scratching for minutes)...

Hey Mark, would that be the Clio sport I have seen a couple of times round the Limestone avenue Braddon type area?

    cheers!

Great to see all the French cars that turned up to our first ACT meeting yesterday. Two Peugeots (504 sedan and wagon) and 5 Renaults (R16, R12 wagon, R25, RS Clio and Fuego). Where were the other Pugs that said they were coming?? After chatting for an hour, the 2 Pug owners had to leave for other appointments but the 5 Renaults went for a drive up to Corin Dam in the foothills of the Brindabella Mountains. What a great drive!! Winding mountain road and absolutely no traffic! apart from Renaults in front and behind me.

Ah... but you should have seen (and heard...) the WRX that scarpered off in that direction before you turned up!

Nice little gathering... too bad there were so few there. Maybe next time?'

    When will pics be posted?

It was a great morning. Perfect weather and great people.

I got my first Aussie Frogs sticker from Ray too. Now I do feel like one of the crowd!

Sorry Luke, but I'll have to take the credit for handing out DEKA's stickers.
Seems these stickers have now infiltrated the ACT crew.

    Sorry I missed it.

I just saw the post for it now. I had a busy couple of weeks back there. My parents were in town for the day anyway so I couldn't have made it.

I have a couple of 504's and a 505 wagon. I would probably have brought my beaten up 504 wagon.

I'll keep an eye out for the next meeting. If anyone is planning one, Saturdays work best for me, except when my parents are visiting! It'd be great to meet some of you guys. I wouldn't mind getting one of those stickers either.

I'll give you a sticker if we can catch up this weekend, James.

Just remind me when I get there... and a beat up 504 wagon would not have been out of place...

    Ray,

Hope you're having a good Christmas. We've all done the present thing and are now just waiting for the in-laws to arrive so I thought I'd check out the forum in the meantime.

Saturday evening/night is looking pretty good at this stage to meet up. I saw in another of your posts that you are going to see Bill McNamee on Saturday also. I live about 5 minutes (max.) away from him if you are going to his house. He and Richard Adams converted my 505 auto to the 4 speed manual. What a fun experience that was for all of us. Ask him about the clutch dying about 20 minutes before we were due to leave for Qld on the day that we got the car on the road for the first time after the conversion! Bill fixed it all with lightning speed but it's a good story.

The sticker sounds good. I'll give you a call on Saturday morning on the mobile.

    Cheers,
    James
