Of course with our friend the internet its available for download. I got it on www.kazaa.com (search for rendezvous or paris ferrari or something like that), but the quality is average. There will be good quality varieties available for download surely.

DeKa to the rescue.

I just bought Taxi on DVD (WITH ENGLISH subtitles!!)
I'm attempting to find Taxi 2 on DVD too (with subtitles)

Taxi 1 I'd imagine I'll have within a week.

Taxi 3 isn't out on DVD yet, which is why you will have trouble finding it on Kazza. If it is on Kazza it'd be a video camera job from the back of the cinema

I bought it on eBay for a whole 7.19 pounds including shipping.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4179&item=33250184 19&rd=1

{edit} You can also buy them new from Amazon.co.uk at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=dvd-uk&field-keywords=taxi&bq=1/ref=sr_aps_all/202-1112518-7803022

It's region 2, so you need to have a multi-region DVD player. That means unfortunately I can't rip the DVD on my Mac

Getaway in Stockholm is the one you're thinking of - my old housemate had them all on good quality VCDs, and they can all be found on the web for download if you look hard enough.

The first one was pretty good, the second one with the Cosworth (kicking the arse of the) & Supra is definitely the best, but the action with the NSX in the third one gets a little tired... The basic premise (if you can call it that) of the films is the drivers heading out onto the streets of Stockholm early in the morning trying to attract police attention, and then trying to evade capture. It makes for some scintillating driving.

The best part about the third DVD in particular would have to be all the outtakes and snippets (from memory, longer than the main feature itself) at the end of the film featuring some great drags, burnouts, some amazing footage of a guy sitting backwards on a motorbike to flip the bird at the cops following him, and a complete idiot with carbon fibre boots hanging off the NSX's spoiler at 240km/h going down a disused runway...

The camera work and production (not to mention the driving) in all three films is really top class, and they're definitely worth checking out, if you can find them. (www.blackstar.co.uk have the first two on 1 dvd for 15 pounds...)

That get away in stockholm is NUTS! mallet I can't believe people get so lucky driving around like that A) not hitting anyone or anything, and B) not getting caught by the police! I mean its not like they are being particully quiet either! I mean he must have covered a good part of the city on that run!

Anyway, the one you can download off kaaza is pretty good, little grainy, but the sound is still pretty good! dance

I have a small video clip of a Volvo S60 T5 doing 250km/h somewhere - he took on an old Ferrari but it failed to keep up.

In your photo though, it is over the red line and almost out of fuel. Surely not the most efficient way of driving .
