    Got bored, so attached a Mic' to my 206

    Ok, I decided to attach a radio mic to the back windscreen of my 206 and then run the cord through my back window into a mindisc recorder....here is the result.

    PS, I was bored wink But my car sounds tuffer then what I thought wink hehehehe

    I remember when I first got my car I was puzzled by the whistle noise it makes so got a laptop and recorded the engine sound from inside. It sounded nothing like it did in real life, but certainly sounded cool

    Hrm, interesting.
    ok, I am not sure what I should be listening for?

    The mic was at the rear of the car, can you hear it comming through the exhaust? The car (well atleast for me being inside) doesn't sound as throaty or spluttery as what it does in the MP3 file...

    The mic was at the rear of the car, can you hear it comming through the exhaust?
    Try sticking your ear right on the tailpipe. You should pick it up then.

    Sounds very similar to the click your knee gives when someone pulls on your ankle. wink

    Sorry nbj. I couldn't resist. There is no timing chain to rattle on a 206.

    As you can guess I don't know much about cars wink

    I know how to change a tyre really fast in the middle of a rally stage and add oil to my engine, change air filter, change fuses and lights and wash it wink hehehehe I just like driving cars <img src="http://filestore.redlineau.com/filestore/missy%20d/drivin.gif" alt=" - " />
