What's the weather like over there?

Here is a site I like to keep open at work when I hear of a storm on the way.

    <a href="http://mirror.bom.gov.au/weather/radar/" target="_blank">http://mirror.bom.gov.au/weather/radar/</a>

The Bureau of Meteorology have a heap of other interesting weather info on this site aswell.

If you're looking at present, have a look what's heading straight at us at present. 8.10pm EST
Looks like I'd better keep the wellys at the door again; another night keeping "the family" under cover. mallet

1770 had 22 inches last week due to Beni.
    Both roads were cut.
Up there again this weekend to tidy up our purchase.

out here we don't need to check to see what the weather is doing
we just have dry and hot day after day
we did get our first few drops of something from the sky the other day for the first time this year
we measured about 5mm and that was it
bathurst seemed to get a good drenching though
we might even get some more of that stuff fall from the sky before the end of the year

We had the dryest January in history (160 years of records) last month with an official 0 (zero) fall for the entire region.
A couple of nights ago there was a cocky on TV saying how his herd had gone from 500 to 35 due to the drought & now it's rained, he'd just watched 12 of them float down the river.
The other thing that's caught a lot out too is that stock is so weak from makeshift food that they don't have the energy to get away from the rising floodwaters & are just standing there & drowning.
Bit of weather in moderation occasionally would be nice. dance dance
