Who's Xsara is this?

Hello people, I'm new to the forum.
I have Renault Clio for over 6 months now..very pleased with my 1st french car.

Who's Xsara is this?

I saw this car in Coronation drive, Brisbane the other night.
very nice prepared car. Is it a VTS?

Are your tyres nearly bald?, cos I saw u taking a 90 degree corner in Toowong and ur car is sliding around abit.

I was following u at that time.

Yes, Xsara's car is beautiful - kitted, ICE'd (is that the term question ) and painted VTR with those wild wheels, it makes other VTRs look very ordinary (even if they do have newly applied aussiefrogs stickers - thanks Chris ).

Bruce, your car looked so good the other day that it inspired me to to wash, polish an vacuum the D (which, even if I say so myself has really come up a treat) wink

Terminology
Bodywork/kits/wheels = Tuned??
In Car Entertainment = ICE

The XM brochure has taken pride of place, and proved an interesting read, you learn something everyday

thats my car...

glad you like it...

the tyres arne't bald, full of tread actually!!! i dont usually slide around corners.... the car never slides! it does have some excess weight in the rear though....(stereo) which doesn't help with the torsion bar sloppyness! buit yeah, i dont think i woulda been sliding! the front is dropped on Eibach's!

yours a balck clio? and were you behind me form the (Coronation -regatta - Toowong shopping centre) if so it was good to see someone actually driving a clio properly!

next on that car is the interior!
Julian!

Xsara,

yeah sweet setup mate!! looks clean and classy. It's good to see a nicely setup euro car.

I lowered my Clio on Eibach aswell.
you using Prokit or Sportline?
I use sportline..found the ride is much better than standard springs.

Yup, it was me in the black clio.
I'll make sure I'll give you a waive if I see you on the street..

cheers

Steve

by the way, where do you go to to install BMC induction kit?
thanks

If you want to get a cold air induction box made for it, give me a yell. I have come across a guy on th Southside who is making one for my Mi16 next week. The box including a Sparco pod filter is about $450. He showed me some dyno sheets and these things are certainly producing some extra grunt.

Remus is expensive...

that price would not be just the back box, it must be the cat-back system..... one thing about Remus exhaust is that they are all designed differently for each car, and dont make an exhaust system that doesnt give a power increase...

Cal has only good things to say about the fella doing his PUG, should give hium a try aswell for Cold Air Induction if your not keen on the BMC system...

Hi,
Currently there are 2 choices

1. BMC with carbon kit.

2. PiperCross Viper..got quoted $700. apparently given out 8.5kw increase at the wheel. with no other mods.

as for the exhaust. got a quote on a Devil muffler from HardeyEuro. $915 fitted.

Modifying Euro cars are expensive man~

yes it is.... but it is well worth it i think!

I hacve the BMC carbon dynamic airbox... am very pleased with it! the only thin i have changed about it, is put stronger piping on.... i found the stuff they supply to be abit too soft and does't take the strain of my my motor when it is being revved and this caused the pipe to fray and split!

Have group A heatproof Brake custing on my car now.... that is alot stonger and holds up well! ives just a good of flow to the airbox as the stuff supplied with the BMC!

go to www.bmcairfilters.com and have a read up on them if your unsure!

One thing about HArding European is that they dont sell crap products and only have good stuff deisgned for European cars by Europeans!
