Driving a 406 diesel at the moment

It's absolutely fantastic. I forgot how good they are. 4 years old. Not a squeak or rattle. Lovely ride, handles nice (a bit squishy, not a lot)and manages to feel like a smaller car than it is. It's an ok car in auto, but in manual it's sensational. Much more likeable than the 2.0 petrol car. What a difference a bit of torque makes. The petrol 2.0 engine is a bit anaemic: fluffy and torqueless. But the DT is amazing. I am driving faster in this than the GTi6 I was driving last week. It just begs to be revved and get the turbo spinning. I love this car. Needs slightly more boost!

Too right Warwick - they are great fun to drive =)

I once test drove a 206 GTi and a 306 HDi back to back on the same roads. I had more fun driving the 306, which suprised the hell out of me. I couldn't get over that engine!

Peugeot really crippled themselves with the 4 door 306 HDi. If they brought out a 3 or 5 door with the XSi suspension and other goodies, I am pretty sure I would be driving one now

UFO, it's a 98. AS new (and I mean it) 50000k's and $29000 we will ask this weekend. It deserves close to that cos it's a good car.
I'd love to give one a bit more boost, but that would have to be my car not the company's car.
