    New Peugeot Escapade

    This from AutoExpress

Adventure is the order of the day at Peugeot. The French firm has unveiled a new Escapade version of its Partner Combi.

Extended arches, a body-coloured bumper, foglamps and 15-inch wheels give an 'adventurous' look. The Escapade's ride height has also been raised by 30mm. Available with a choice of two engines - a 110bhp 1.6-litre petrol unit and a 90bhp 2.0 HDi oil-burner - it's priced at 10,295.

"All of its cars from the 1.1 litre 205 through the ugly duckling 309 to the 2.2 litre 505 GTi had a rightness and a righteousness about them that turned every humdrum drive into a journey. Someone, I once wrote, in the bowels of Peugeot understands handling and how a chassis should feel." - Jeremy Clarkson

    Note to Peugeot Australia:

    BRING IT HERE FLARKEN!

What the hell are you doing introducing the 607 and not these little beasties?

    Someone is on drugs.

I saw a Citroen Berlingo RVX today in Kensington.. never heard of the RVX moniker before. It's not dissimilar to this Escapade anyway.

It was a Berlingo with fairly large alloys (15"?) dark tinting, windows in the rear, with seats in the back. It looked good. It definately looked like it was sold that way - it had the RVX stickers on the back next to the Berlingo logo.

It was sold by Continental - I might ask them about it next time I'm there.

    DeKa, what is this beast?
I've seen a wheel chair model Berlingo at Eastwood, quite a different look to standard including white bumpers, flip up rear hatch.

I like the look of the Pug van. If it's internal dimensions compare to the Berlingo, I may just have to upgrade in 3 years when the current lease is up.

    Looks similar to this but...
