    Unfortunately this is our lot.
It's a valuable lesson on keeping local copies of databases & data in general.

Still lots of links to fix & add ons to add on but at least we are in our own house again.
Going outside now to get some sun.

it's nice to be back in my comfy chair chair again, no offense to auscity, they were very good to have us there and it was very much appreciated

now i'll fire up the de lorean so i can make sense of the new/old surroundings but very well odnr Gerry, you deserve much more than most of us can give you for the effort and time as well as those others who have also been toiling away behind the scenes

there are a few buttons and such that aren't 'lit' up for want of a better word but i'm sure that these things can just take a back seat for the moment while you catch some sun, then when you are finished with it send some here as i'm sick of the damn rain

But maybe it's like having a rubber on your pencil? If you don't make mistakes who needs one?

Gerry & team....... It looks like there is still a glitch in something because my earlier posts in threads from yesterday haven't got an edit button visible yet anything this afternoon does.
Just bringing it to your attention.

Ok, didn't read the post before mine, sorry had been on a RCCQ night run and lacked sleep.
Problem is still there but the edit button from the post above had disappeared where it was there after I posted. Logged out and back in and poof, gone.

GibGib, do you want us to mention all the little niggles we have? Do we just ignore them for a few days and then mention them if they are still around?

    Yeah, its rather spooky.
For some reason I couldn't access this account from some point in 2009. So I registered another account as 'bio'. But of course in this version of 'Aussiefrogs' my old account is still alive and loves me, life is good

Well done Gibgig, and thanks to everyone else that has been working behind the scenes to get AF back up and running!

Thanks also to the Aus City folk for the offer of a temporary home while we were "experiencing technical difficulties".

Now, to go and make some changes to my profile. I've got a "new" car after all

So that's where you got to! I had noticed the lack of posts from the "old" Biologist and hadn't made the connection to Bio. Good to know you were still around.

I was also a bit surprised that after AF being off-line for a week or so, and everthing lost for last 4 years, that when it suddenly came back to life, I was actually still logged in at March 2006!

Thanks to the admins for raking up what they could from the disaster. In a few months it will be like nothing ever happened.

Tha may not be true. DNA analysis suggests that the coca bean is not part of a terrestrial evolutionary tree and may have arrived directly from a remote source. It was probably a brown dwarf near Betelgeuse.
Those that consume it are invaded by an alien force which explains why they are progressively taking over our planet.

Not at all, just being helpful. Pulled out a google cache page of one of Daniels previous posts from before the crash to get the image for him, then thought bugger it, I might as well get the entire signature in case he needed it. Much easier for me to do it than try to explain it.

But for your peace if mind, do a google search for 'danielsydney site:www.aussiefrogs.com' and then instead of clicking the link, look at where it says 'Cached'. click that and a previously saved page will pop up and you can copy from it.

That's how we're working at resurrecting the site.
