    Default Cars burn very hot!!!

Drove past a Daewoo in fire on the freeway yesterday. Its was completly ablaze, flames a good 10 metres into the air. I snuck past it two lanes away from it at 50kph and the heat hit me in the side of the face through the window - I couldnt believe how hot it was!!!

Had a look at the left side the car when I stopped next, but I escaped melting anything. If I had been slower or closer, I reckon paint/plastic damage would have been certain!!!

Was that the red one on the Eastern Fwy?

I only saw it briefly this morning & thought it was a Telstar/626.

Probably some poor buggers' only transport used in a robbery then torched.

Yeah I saw that thing on the road as well. Looked messy. We counted the number of broken down cars on the eastern yesterday (left side only) and we got up to 12. Not too bad!

Yeah, I noticed the number of cars parked up too.

The 205gti boiled over yesterday losing about 50% of it's coolant. Nasty. Still, the thing soldiered on.

What I find fascinating are the number of near new Mercedes Benz's that are among these cars.

South Eastern next to the Forster Rd off ramp, about 3 pm.

And yes Vivid, its a later one without the cladding. Still got plastic mirrors, fibreglass bumpers and rubber bump strips to melt though

Lots of crook cars about on the weekend, including one 306 being loaded onto a tow truck with 2 annoyed looking girls watching... But the R25 happiely covered a few hundered Ks this weekend, mediocre AC on full bore

10 years on, there is still bits of my brothers ford lazer amalgamated into the concrete where it burned to the ground. We could have roasted marsh mellows at 30 feet. You should have heared the shockies explode!.took about 20 minutes for the firefighters to extinguish it.
Moral to the story, dont have the same type of car as the dude next door who's dealing,or park it off the street if you do
