    Wow
He could probably shave off another secnd or so off the 0-60 time if it didn't have so many headlights!!
    0.8g is amazing
So if he made a 4 wheel version it would have 400hp? and only need to be half the 2.7 tonne weight??
They never mentioned the effectiveness of the brakes

I love the styling though...very Cit Ds looking isn't it.

I remember reading about this car a while back (The article seems to be dated Nov. 2004. I wonder how far the project has progressed?
Not a very pretty car overall, and too long in my opinion, especially compared with a 205...

Yes, but think of the greenhouse gasses, fossil fuel consumption and all the baby seals you are killing when you light one of them up off the line.

You'd want that car to move fast . . .

so no-one gets a chance to recognise you driving that thing.

They run on Nitromethane and Methanol which aren't fossil fuels, but yes, they do produce a fair amount of waste The electrodes on the spark plugs (all 16 of them) are burnt off by about half track And something else usually breaks on a pass, so they really do waste our resources.
But they've certainly wasted some resources with that looong electric car, and how is the electricity being produced that they charge it with?

this has always been my question with so called "green" electric cars... the electricity stored in the batteries still needs to be produced somehow. fair enough, electricity form a coal burning power plant is probably cleaner energy than that from an petrol engine, but its still burning fuel.

alot of people seem to think - wow! its electric so theres no exhaust and its totally clean!

the amazing thing about this car was a shot of the chassis minus the body - all of the batteries and motors are BELOW the line of the axles - thats gotta create an amazing CG!

Mandatory accessories include one humungous solar cell

You have top sign a waver to agree to replace all the tiles on your roof with solar cells to charge it every night.
WOuld be economical if that was the case?

I have noticed that solar cels tend to be a lot less efficient at night.....

And then there's the matter of where the energy came from to produce the solar cells
    It's a bit of a Catch 22 situation

I was always under the assumption that a modern petrol car was quite efficient, and a coal burning power station was not.Am I a victim of the marketing gang, or is this false/correct?????
