    Default Hit by a frog

Bit off topic but had to ask. My friend just bought new Subaru Liberty, he has a garage but he was too lazy to clean it to park his new car in it. And then this morning drunk girl in 306 hit his parked car from behind and bit from the side and damaged back, wheel and most likely whole suspension. As the car is 4WD will this be a huge problem?

I suspect the extra drivetrain parts from being AWD are not a huge issue, not when compared to straightening the bodywork/chassis and getting the suspension/wheel alignment right again. Will obviously cost (the insurance) slightly more, but shouldn't be a huge drama.

Depressing for your friend. BTW what colour was the Suby ?

My old suzuki swift was written off when a Renault scenic t-boned it at an intersection. The event was so traumatic that i went out and bought a Peugeot off the back of it. :p

Your friends subaru should be fairly easily repaired, they're tough cars with chassis that can take a pounding. It's most likely the replaceable bits (the suspension/body) took all the pain and saved the underlying frame.

His own insurance should cover him (and make the drunk girls life a misery for a while extracting $$$)
