Well, this is Gods country, even if his #1 serveant has passed on. I filled yesterday and my 24 litres actually cost under the litre value in dollars for the first time in ages. ($23.xx can't remember exactly )......we do have the tax break of about 10c/litre too.

SSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH............there are more than enough southerners moving here now, we DO NOT want anymore. (I think we should send back all those who came in the last 5 years anyway)
And we need a maroon card system too, no card no work and you have to pass a stringent test first though. (give all your posessions and $$ to the state and be flea and tick bathed too )

I filled up on tuesday (broadway sydney) at Shell, the price was down to 105.9, so with 4c off it was 101.9 which is pretty low for Sydney.... in ages

In the morning there were low prices available, but by the evening the prices had all been jacked up.

In brisvegas today, the price went from around 95 cents at 10am to 109 cents by 2pm. Then it dropped slightly to 106 in the evening. Bit odd?

Oil prices started rising again recently, but it's usually about two weeks before that cost gets to the pumps (in reality). Of course, since the petrol co's know the public sees the oil prices on the news, they might aswell jump on this golden opportunity to screw us over (again).

I can answer that, somebody obviously realised they had accidentally put the price up more than the regulation 10-cent-price-gouge-at-the-end-of-the-week amount and were worried the ACCC might get interested (or not)

Same thing happened here. Petrol was at 107.9 last night and this morning was at 118.9. Bloody ridiculous!
