    Default Advanced Driver Training

    Hey Guys,

    My folks are going to get me an advanced driving course for my B'day. any recomendtions? i live in Bathurst NSW.

    Down at Oran Park did mine earlier this yr for $250. It was a blast!

    Stage 1.5 (hybrid of 1 and 2)
    Skidpan, Slamlom, Emergency Braking - wet and dry and a wet course fang..

    Started 8am - 4pm

    For you ex-Luff chauffeurs - how much punishment does the car get; like how long are you on the skidpan - notice much tyre wear etc.

    $250 is something of a bargain for a full day.

    We got it at $250 because it was a weekday and had a group of 24 cars to make it cost effective..

    Around 15mins on the skidpan John..

    Hell yeah you'll notice tyre wear! Left home with semi-decent good yr gs-d2s came home with near bald left front

    Left home with dust free clean rims came home with black brake dust covered rims.

    But it was all worth it

    Oh yeah if you're car is used as a demo by the instructors on the day expect some more wear and tear!

    Yeah, I offered the Xantia up for braking demonstrations when I did a level one some time back. Appropriate profanity it stopped well, but sadly the rotors shuddered from that day forth until eventually machined (and later replaced).
