Icon13 Bus Crash - Spit Hill (SYDNEY)

    Hi folks,

Was just watching 7 news and from what I could tell, a dark GTi180/307CC was involved - picked it from one of the rims from a camera shot they showed. Maybe wrong and hope so as it looked very nasty - cut out job.

    Just saw ABC news,

Yep, sure was a GTi180 - Black one - roof peeled back to get the passengers out. Dirty rims too!!

They said it was a lady driver and the GTi180 took the full force of the hit when the bus went on the wrong side of the road...........

Closer inspection reveals a distinctly 307 dash, Stu, which one can see on the SMH's gallery of the sorry affair here

Of course, for some strange reason this means that Uga Boga thinks it's actually a C4 dash, because apparently Peugeot copied a 2003 C4 design for their 2001 design 307, but that's another matter

Actually, looking at this accident, looks like a 307 dash to me

I'm amazed anyone survived that. Well done Peugeot, it's obviously a very safe car.

It's a big hit .. and big safety ad for Peugeot.

And remember the the whole roof, doors etc have been cut off with the jaws of life, making it look worse.

(yes agree a 307 ... dash is the give away)

No, Safari is intermittently not working as well. I'd hazard a guess that anything other than Micro$oft's latest implementation of Explorer will not work with the new software, but that's just the cynic in me talking

    At 1st glance, i thought it was a 307XSE.....
But after closer look, it seems to have the 17inch Wheels
So probably is a 307 XSI.........
The lady was ok....thnx to Peugeot Safety

Yep, thx guys - I only noticed it from the quick flash of rims on the TV last night. Certainly could not tell what model it was from the rest of the car!

Agree, looking at the SMH photos, she is a 307.............

Thanks folks. Again, due to Pug safety, she is still alive............
