    Default vBulletin software upgraded

We have updated from vBulletin 3.0.7 to 3.5.1

Some features (eg Members Gallery) are missing due to overwriting of files while upgrading. These need to be re-added manually so will be back in time.

Let us know here if there are any problems or if you have found some neat new functions.

There's lots of cool features for moderators - you can now edit subjects in line , and stuff like that.

Thanks for all your hard work 'Gerry', a nearly seamless upgrade in double quick time, we continue to profit from the Admin's and Mod' hard work on this forum.

My emoticons / smilies don't work.

I fancied taking the Mick out of Garry, but it won't be the same without a few

    clowns present.

(no, there isn't a tick in my box next to "disable smilies")

    no cheers

    Mike.

I noticed there's a quick language selector between US English and French.

    Edge!

Looked at this Xantia yesterday and I loved it!

I still have an extreme soft spot for Peugeots though...especially the 05/04 series!

Maybe I should have a Hybrid avatar!

The new Members Gallery is viewable but we are not able to edit it yet. It's to do with an error in usergroup permissions. I have contacted the author so I suppose I will have a fix tomorrow.
It looks great & you can add all your cars separately now!

There are still more things to put back on. Some things don't work yet but all our data is safe.
I am not just putting on the old versions as a little bit a research reveals many improvements to our previous additions.

Also, If you see some weird stuff happening when you are surfing AF (like just then), don't be too concerned. Should be all done & dusted probably in the next 2 days.

    Icon9 welcome page?

when logging onto aussiefrogs, i have notice now that the welcome page says 'welcome guest', yet the right hand banner states my correct user name

not a criticism, but the previous software/interface greeted with a 'welcome user name' & avatar noice

does surfing on a mac vs a pc make any diff?
