    Default Window Tinting

    Hi all,

    Can anyone recommend a window tinting shop in Sydney.
    There are a fair few out there, but i've heard of some shonky work being done..

    Not in Sydney area but an excellent job when it comes to window tinting..... Thatís where i got mine.... Lifetime warranty etc...... Specialises in tinting and only tinting..... If you do end up calling Lee, let him know that Joey recommended your business.....

    Just spoke to Lee he quoted $295 for his best tint film

    Hunters Hill tinting, the Clio was <$200
    lifetime warranty & he did John Laws' bentley the day before mine!!!

    solartint at camperdown did my mi16 - top job and cost less than $200.
    1992 mi16 1.9 litre - it's a love hate realtionship.

    whatever you do NEVER tell anyone your car is reliable. doesn't matter how much wood you touch!

    It isn't so much the film but the glue that breaks down over time.

    Yes .. 3M and 3M glue does .. it is transferred from owner to owner and is exempt from internal moisture (watch that one exclusion clause - a lot use it). A case of, you get what you pay for.

    VERY TRUE...... i payed $350 for my tints..... well worth it, excellent job, lifetime warranty and the colour of the tints are blue...... heaps of money for tints but well worth it.....

    Bump of an old thread.

    Does anyone know a 3M window tinting place in Melbourne, preferably in the Northcote/Brunswick area they could recommend?

    Also what shade of tinting do folks think is best? It strikes me as a bit dangerous if other drivers cannot see you, ie that you see them etc. Thoughts appreciated.

    Best in Melbourne is CarTint speak to Rob Tait - 0417 755 537.

    Only uses quality materials and is a tremendous tradesman. You will have to pop down Eastern as he is in Ringwood.
