    Icon8 Stupid driving on display

    Time for another rant

Well I hoped that I would never see the day when a pug driver would perform some blatant acts of stupidity on the road. I am rolling to the set of lights on the corner of hume highway (liverpool road) and frederick street near ashfield. As I am rolling to the set of lights (on liverpool road, city bound) a black 306 XT with aftermarket wheels (I think they were off a 180) pulls from the left lane into the right lane.

No problem methinks, I was way back and could easily slow down in time. The lights are red for a good minute or so. The twit then decides that he doesn't want to go straight, instead he wants to turn left into frederick street. So that's what he did whilst the lights are red and cars are coming across frederick street. He turned left, in front of the car in the left lane whilst the lights were red and this was at 6:20 pm, so there was plenty of traffic!!!!!

Now I don't know if this driving trait prevails amongst all 306 owners (I can her the 306 owner's keyboards clicking away as I type this message!)

If the owner of that particular 306 is a member of this forum, all I got say is keep up that style of driving, because it wont be too long before you get cleaned up by a truck and that will mean one less driver to clog our roads up.

Feel free to join in on this thread to bag out any stupid driving you have witnessed.

    Could be a P plater 306 driver!

The P Plater 306 probably has the dubious honour of Aussiefrogs' most crash prone car.

Lets just say that there have been 306s driven by P Platers in Sydney and Melbourne that were 'cashed in' quickly thanks to Mr Insurance

Fortunately the only thing truly injured, apart from the cars, were their egos. Hence the disclaimers in the Social Events forum.

We sensible 307 drivers stay out of trouble

Bad driving is a sydney institution, and Im probably the chairperson. But with everyone doing something wrong at one point or another weve almost come to expect it....... that dosn't make it ok though. - Chris

well, you see back home you need to be aggressive on the road otherwise it gets you to nowhere. anyone that have been driving in any asian countries would agree with me, it's all about how we brought up i guess.. I tried to behave now but i still get the four letter word from time to time. anyway i still think commodore drivers are worse than us ~

All hail ye great Justin. He of the flashing hazard lights...

I seem to remember following your mini van on a certain 'social event' when the friggin hazard lights started flashing for no apparent reason...

'WTF' went through my head - as it was in a clear and fastish corner - and I nearly needed my own hazard lights when I got of the gas in a hurry and the back decided it wanted to overtake the front...

Well, not quite all of them. Not the embarrassing bozo I saw in a 307 (not recently) cruise straight through a red pedestrian crossing light in Canterbury Rd, C'bury in peak hour because he was a bit too fixated on window-shopping ...
