    Hey Serge,

thanks for the offer, was just wondering today sales figures for slightly tight as opposed to slightly larger condoms, thanks in anticipation.

    ed ge

I used to buy the extra large until I got onto the concept of slightly tight, now I just buy large, how 'bout you?

I cannot believe that 1200 odd people are stupid enough to buy a Hyundai Getz. Do they buy them without actually sitting in it first?

I had one as a rental in Melbourne last month, and it was by far the biggest box of turd I had driven in a lifetime. If you have to buy a cheap snot-box, buy a Toyota.

At least I was out of town, so I wasn't seen by many people who know me...

    Who knows

The price is usually the only factor, but can sometimes also be affected by the warranty offered.

The Getz wins on both of these issues, yes?

Until you sit in the poxy thing, as see what quality materials are used in the construction. And that is before you introduce it to a corner.

The funny thing is the 206 and C3 wouldn't fare too well against a Getz in terms of the interior materials.

Seriously, a 206 XR has some of the shoddiest interior materials you'll find in any small car this side of a Matiz.

I rented one of these in Darwin, ~3000km on the clock & it had bad piston slap when cold. Doubt it will make it out of warranty without a new engine.

So Berlingo is quite a good seller I guess. More Scenic sold than Zafira, that's quite an achievement, isn't it?

I could be wrong but I think Berlingo sales are actually down. I think the old one looked better personally.

The Zafira is a generation behind the Scenic, but yeah, still good to see Renault picking up sales there. In fact its possible that Holden have or are running out of Zafira's since they are not made anymore. We won't be getting the new one either (I don't think), so all the best for Renault.

Do they separate out the wagons from the sedans/hatches at all?
Would be interested in the C5 vs 407 vs 307 vs Liberty vs Volve V50/70/XC70 or others comparison for wagons/estate/touring only.

That just would have been funnier if it wasn't the no.2 post.

    Good info Serge, thankyou.

I only mentioned it because in a servo that day I had, for the first time, seen above mentioned articles and, yes, was interested in what it means.

Serge did says ANY sales figures so I thought.................

The last para was a throw away.

But I'm still interested Serge and your access to such things is better than mine and I hope that you got some amusement.

    ed ge

just imagine buying the slightly tight and them just falling off, you could end up needing viagra or counselling or both, ahh the less than robust Aussie male ego.

Edge you do make me laugh out loud, I'll pay you that!

My apologies for not being up to date with contraceptive sales. Although I'd say Ansell shares are a pretty safe investment.

Pope (did'nt he drive a VW Golf until recently?), the sales figures I have access to do not give model breakdowns (no no pun with the reliability thread intended). I know others on this forum do have access, however.

I can tell you XC70 and V50 though if you like (the V70 has been discontinued now anyway, and since Citroen C5 sales can be approximated by zero pretty much, that is a fair guide).
