Sheesh $695 for custom ones and $395 for standard plates is a bit steep!

They do look good though - We dont have them here in sa

yeah they aren't cheap but i think vic roads knows people will be prepared to pay that amount, it will now become standard equipment on benz's & porsche's

Is it true in NSW that you have to pay a yearly fee to hold these plates??

    They look awesome!
Might start saving now! Don't think I could justify the personalised ones though. Yes they will most definitely be standard on Porsches, Mercs, Beemers etc.
Although I also saw Collingwood plates on the Vic Roads web site
Now they would go well with a Black GTi6!
BTW, does anyone know why Subies are called Scoobies in the UK? I am always reading it in Car magazine etc.

Yes, you can upgrade your future general issue V Series plates to a Euro Plate for just $145 (e.g. VXR.345).
    A slightly cheaper alternative.

The plates look alright, I've got better things to do with my money though

The foreign language components of the ads in the paper have been funny, but then again most people wouldn't notice

Take a bit of convincing to be allowed to spend that kind of cash.

For my part - they can stick them wherever they fit but not on my car for that money. I might be narcissistic but my cars are not.
