Default Public Thanks....4 the RS&AE committee

I am sure I speak for all attendees form the weekend's RS&AE event in thanking the organizing committee for such a wonderful event.
The route for the day run was a perfect opportunity to show off what great roads there are around SE Queensland to our visiting guests form southern states and NZ.
The Grand Display certainly benifited unimaginably form the input of all the 110/GTA/5TII/610 that attended. It made for the best display I have attended in about 17 years.
    WELL DONE TO ALL

I have some pics and vid captures I will post here as soon as I sort it all out.

Nick it was great. I hope the vid capture I have works on here when I get it up. I have some good footage of the 3 cars in front of us that were 2 x yellow r15's and a blue R16(complete with full roll cage).
The 16 did some great body roll cornering that 16's are famous for.
The run was up to Mary Cannes Cross lookout for lunch and back to Samford, via Peachester which would be a great run to do as a Froggie day run some time too. We will ahve to do a run up when you get home

My dad got a speeding ticket with my sis slug-o-matic 306 before, just imagine him with my 205 or 306....I think it is time for us young-uns to tell dad to tread lightly on the 'go' pedal..hehehe

    Chris

I agree. It was a great bash. The selected roads were fantastic if you wanted to put the welly in. I only frightened the Ball and Chain about 10 times! "Do we have to go this fast?" One of those A610 went past me like I was standing still! It was well organised with some great people. The Queensland Club members were very friendly

Also great to meet fellow aussiefroggers on Sunday.

Just got back to Sydney and the R15TS did not miss a beat all week.

I second everything everyone is saying.

That was the bomb. The drive on Saturday was so much fun, and the turnout for the FCD was huge. The day went so quick.

Yes, the day certainly went quick.
Alan M and i were talking on the phone earlier tonight, and we both reckon we saw less of the cars personally this year because we spent more hours standing around yacking to all the interesting people rather than looking at cars. Saw some great ones though, just didn't do as much looking as in years gone by.

The RS&AE format would be a good basis for a national bi-ennial meet of Renault 'nutters' We could all even end up in Kiwiland one day?
