Aeroplanes in the garage??? must be ultralights to fit in there. It does explain why all his cars are outside, but it would be better to know that there were more French cars in the garage.

I saw a white Citroen AX in Civic yesterday afternoon, about 5.45pm. So there must be a few around town.

Also saw a white DS with QLD plates at the National Gallery on Sunday morning.

Spotted a nice dark green 306 in Civic this afternoon. You reverse parked in front of me near the Holy Grail. Like the colour.

Saw a white CX with ACT plates heading south while we were in the XM going north on the bridge over Canberra Ave Fyshwick early this afternoon. Later near the old Army playing fields near the airport saw a v nice dark blue C4 turning left while we were heading right to go up Majura lane direction.

Saw a few other French cars, but can't recall what they were.

Was the CX "Cruiserman" out for a run in his new toy? (BTW I waved AND flashed the lights at the CX)

I though it was a condition of your entry into the Territory that all other motorists were notified of your impending arrival....

How did the XM handle the warm weather?

    on topic...

Did you notice if the CX had a black numberplate with white writing (YCB-**H)? I've been stalking this car which I see quite regularly out Belconnen-way.

Superbly! The aircon in this car is just SO good (after having mucho $$ spent on it last year). We stopped at United at Eaglehawk to get fuel and I spent 10 mins trying to get the goopy bug guts off the windscreen. Back in the car the engine temp gauge was around 100c from heat build up but dropped back to the standard 90c within 1 minute of starting the engine.

We only skirted around the border of the territory so we evaded the ACT passport patrol A flying visit to Cooma for FIL's 80th birthday party last night.

When we got home it was about 30c and of course inside the house was nice and muggy - Deb said we just go back to the 20c car and leave the engine running!

Aircon in house is now chugging away and things are more bearable - although I have to go and mow the jungle, sorry lawn, soon as the cat has once again requested a flare gun after the recent rain!

Pugpete, DEFINATELY go for the coupe. I just purchased one, absolutely love it! Not as good around tight corners as the GTI6 (or your 205 for that matter!), but looks amazing and is a fantastic cruiser.

You are welcome to take mine for a drive if you are interested.

    So is the GTI6 gone?

Why couldnt you rego the 205? Sounds sad. I can relate. My Mk2 is off the road (2 months now ) awaiting a part from UK. It is driving me nuts.

MRGOLF, no I currently own both cars! I have unfortunately had to advertise the GTI6 though. Will be a sad day when it goes!

However, love the coupe! Fantastic looking car, and the smoothest car to drive. Great cruiser.
