Default froggy cars you should have never sold

going on the theme of a couple of other threads what froggy cars have you owned and sold that you wish you never did part with

i have had a few i should never have parted with in hindsight

    61 403B
    64 403 ute
    77 V6 504 5spd
    78 604 5spd
    89 405 Mi-16

the 403B was a very low mileage original car

the ute was also very low mileage but i ran out of room

the 504 was the same as the ute but what a fun car to drive

the 604 was one that i always wanted but i shifted states and the 405 replaced it and i couldn't keep both

the 306 replaced the 405 but then a few years later kids arrived and we ran out of room so the 405 would have been perfect and fun at the same time

Good idea... a more positive thread...

The only one I should never have sold was the first 403 I had. Sold it to buy a Healey but didn't get enough to make the purchase. Led to a miserable couple of years fighting Simca head gasket and head problems.

Once you start driving *real* cars there aint no going back ... not ever.

Never regretted selling it for a second.

If, "sold" includes having to pay a wrecker to take it off your hands, then I nominate my old 16 TS.

    I should have kept it---
Welded Datsun chassis rails into the remaining rust,
    Cut the roof off,
Attached a three point linkage on the back and used it as a muck spreader in a piggery.

Only used Black and gold oil to top up and never ever change the filter.

And if it were to finally die, I would have had it stripped and used as a chook shed.
Oh, and I want my $120 back. (buying a car off ones GF when one is inspecting the chasis of said GF and not the car, is a lesson learnt).
