    Icon6 Play School Car

Not so much that I was bored at work and watching TV; but I noticed Play School had a car. Not one they made out of old milk cartons either; a real live shiny metal one!

Then I recognised what it was... they had a silver 206cc in the Studio!

The presenter then did a demo folding the roof down when its sunny (just like at the Motor Show, but I like the Play school lady better ) and she even explained about how you should check the oil, even demonstrating it (good to see Peugeot has kept with the ridiculously long dipskick as used in the 205; like, is the sump in the rear or what?) and how you fill up with petrol at the back.

What a good example to set for all the children watching! Then again, some adults I know could have benefited from it too...

    Hey,

Nice to see a 206cc on "Playschool" Maybe we will now have younger generations enjoying french cars and the Peugeot marque???

Anyone remember on the "Price is Right" they used to have Citroens which could be given away as prizes?

Yeah, and i have seen the 307 on "Deal or No Deal" Pretty Funky!

Undoubtedly Peugeot have schooled him so he will pronounce it correctly...

I'd make it part of the contract if I had anything to do with it, after all, they're giving away a car worth tens of thousands of dollars. It nearly went off the other day, too, didn't it?

No fear there, I've already got my boys brainwashed into Peugeots.

The only trouble is my 4yo is going through a V8 supertaxi stage at the moment.

BTW the 'playschool' presenter might have been Justine

get him to sit on your lap while you are aussiefrogging and he will soon pick up on the pugs

our boy sits on my lap and he reads all the pug numbers off the site

just have to lean him away from 404's and he should be right then

    Woo hoo 500 posts

He knows the different cars and usually picks them out in traffic

    Dads got 604's

    404's are Granddads cars

    405's are Nannas cars

    505's are Mummys cars

    307's are his cousins cars

Between his grandfather and Dad the poor fellow never stood a chance

PS Its a bit hard to keep him away from 404's cause granddad has 2 of them. But I'm steering him in the right direction with 604's

Is the 24hr comming back anytime soon, I went on the last year (i have never experienced rain like that before- especially not cool when you are camping) and i thought the whole race was absloutely amazing. I would love stayin up really late into the early hours of the morning and watching the cars round the corners with the discs glowing that bright red colour!

    Simply Amazing!

As long as the kid rides with grandad often, 2 pugs!

The 24-hour seems to be as dead as a doornail. There's an endurance race being shaped up for Phillip Island, but not a 24 hour I don't think.

But I have no interest in modern racing at all unless there's a 24-hour at Bathurst!

Yep. My 5yo came up to me after I got home from work and told me that there was "a Peugeot 206cc on Play School today", all excited. And he loves my current wallpaper, a Darl'mat, courtesy of Ray's recent thread (he got a taste for older stuff after riding in Grampys E-Type at 90mph).
