It's a close run thing ... NSW vs Vic.

    -xTc-

And NO in case you're wondering I didn't put QLD as the greatest state only a conceited Queenslander would do that !!! abuse of moderater power that's what it is, I guess coming from a state where state elections were rigged for 20 years I'm not overly surprised ... hahahahaha
New prediction QLD will win the poll cause one of their votes is worth three of ours

Just goes to show that the AF annual BBQ should maybe be held south of the border

Feel free! You will notice that a lot of people that have RSVP'ed to the BBQ haven't been bothered to participate in this poll though. Just shows that this poll is answering the question "What state are people from that like polls?" more than anything else. I'm sure a mod report on VBulletin could tell you what the per state break down is for active members.

But anyway, feel free to host a BBQ down south. It was such a success last year we thought we'd do it again. If you guys did one, I'd suggest around GP time as a fair number of interstate AFers are down at that time. I'd be keen.

How? it's an optional free text field not a DB select item, therefore you can put whatever you like in there? ... sure you could filter by strings .. but it'd be pretty inacurate.

Running a pivot table report comes to mind. Just need a report on that field by active members.

What's the point of this poll again? Except to find out how many is are poll junkies

Wouldn't a pivot table be worse ??? it has to rely on similar values (for groupings), therefore every different location text would be a value in itself .. useless.

Or to show how bad my typing can be at times!

Yeah, a pivot table could be really messy... would group together things like Sydney or NSW, the rest would be manual... I really can't believe I'm posting this...
