    Default Transporting a car Wollongong-Sydney

    Howdy all,

I might have a need to get a car that isn't really driveable moved from Wollongong to Sydney. Can anyone advise on the best/cheapest way to get this done?

Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers,

    JG.

Well, seems I won't be needing it anyway. There is/was for sale an Mi16 in Wollongong for $1000.

Bad accident damage to the front end, but A1 mechanically, and everything else. That is, of course, according to the seller.

I won't be buying it 'cos it's a Series 2. I am keeping my eye open for a cheap S1 motor.

Might be sold by now. Otherwise check Trading Post.

Now here's a project for a budding idiot. Buy dogboy's BX Wagon (when he puts the rego or VIN on the ad ) and buy the trashed Mi16 and transplant the drivetrain into the BX. One BX 16v Wagon - kewl!
