    Default Connecting MOMO steering wheel

    Hi Everyone,
I attempted to connect a new MOMO Race steering wheel to my 205 GTI today and the boss kit sits 15mm out from the column hosting the indicator stalks. Is this normal or do they sit flush? Also the spacer on the boss kit doesn't fit the MOMO wheel. The boss kit is a different brand - AutoItalia I think - would this explain the difference between the spacer dimensions?

There is nothing on the boss to say it is for a 205 GTI except the cat. #198. The people from Autobarn ordered it in for me saying that the MOMO one would be identical but considerably more $.

It's probably one for the early model dash, I know MOMO have to different ones. I have momo's on both my 205's, both late models and both sit flush. The other possibility is that its for a different model 405 perhaps. I'd be inclined to stick with MOMO, I guess it depends what they mean by "considerably more" MOMO bosses are around $80 from memory.

    Matt
