Default Storm Warning!! Better go wrap up your Froggy.

For Brisbaneites and just north thereof, better get ready to batten down the hatches (in more ways than one.) 6.50pm.

Hope the 404 is safe out in the street at Burpengary...

And hope the stepson has shut the sunroof on the 504!

The poor dog won't like this at all. But the missus, she's safe, she'll be lying on the bed having a bludge.

She was a bit of a wild looking bugger on Radar, did anyone on here wear it full on?

Word of advice; they reckon there's more heading our way this arvo but this time expected to be further north possibly from the Sunny Coast through to around 1770, so keep the eyes peeled. They can cause some big damage some of these Summer Storms particularly if you're driving in them at the time.
I got caught in one a few years back down Tweed Heads; I was in a Lite Stout (glass all around) and had to eventually stop smack in the middle of the highway past the old Tick gates. Hail sounded like shotgun cartridges going off as it bounced of all the front & rear glass and in a Lite Stout it's a case of 'nowhere to go; nowhere to hide' ............scarey shit that!!

Was it a 3R or 5R in that thing?

The Tick Box? You mean the one up on that road over the hills from Tallabudgera to Mur'bah?
