Not in the same league by any stretch, but there are a few mpgs of
a motorkhana held in the streets of Gawler in SA a few years ago.

The street width restricted the types of courses we could setup but it was fun nonetheless.

The cars are AH Sprites and MG midgets.

Oh, wikkid - i didnt realise some of the courses were so complex - i have never seen motorkhana before - ever. Yes - i'm sad and have lived a very sheltered life. But i thought it was simply a massive slalom like event...

hmmm...where in SA would i see this in the flesh ? or, join ?

The Porsche club used to run a few in the Tea Tree Plaza carpark but with the advent of Sunday trading they are fast running out of places to run them
Murray : And there are flames coming from the back of Prost's car as he enters the swimming pool!
James Hunt: Well that should put them out then!

they are kit cars with number of engine options available.

http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=102&i=9243 for the "naked" shot of one.

Westfield, PRB make its in Australia.
Basic kit starts at about $20,000 + engine like 4AGE or similar. There are two Hayabusa powered PRB's in NSW belonging to Mackie brothers. Once off items before RTA closed the loophole.

and here is a taste of how quick those things are....
The Caterham Superlight R500 has broken the world road car record for speeding from standing to 100mph and then back to standing, completing the test in an astounding 11.44 seconds.

The previous record time of 11.50 seconds had been set in 1999, in a McLaren F1 LM car, specifically shod in bespoke race tyres.
