203 sunroof, built October 1949, 2 previous owners, 75,000 miles, very original. I'm interested in restoring rather than modifying so it has original spec skinny 16inch tyres and 203 motor, brakes etc. Bought it in 1974 and stored it for many years. Will one day give it a full restoration.

4 door 205 in aztec gold , 1989 model, 4 speed automatic, 1600 litre xu5 engine with a single Webber 36. This is an old pic but since I haven't taken any in a long time that are on the computer, itís the best picture I have. The car now sits on 14" series 1 205 GTI rims, and has 185/60 tires on it. In the picture its siting on 13's with peugeot hubcaps

my old Citroen CX of course:

In the couple of years I've owned this it's been upto Queenland, the arse end of the planet several time, Canberra etc.... My father used it for 12months in the UK before importing it to Australia.

    I posted two piccies

It's an old Series II CX2500 GTi Turbo. The last of the **real** Cit's before poogoe took over and started creating bland boring cars with crappy suspension

This one is my personal fave of my car.

It's taken on one of my favourite bits or road down south of Adelaide.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Citroens, even going back to my grandfather owning a Big Six, but the shit that comes out of your mouth is incredible.

Sorry, but some of the posts you make on these forums are irritatingly incorrect.

    A big 6 Now there's a **real** especially if it's a big 6 Hydraulic

Did I miss a car with **real** suspension since the poogoe takeover. We have the Xanita, BX and C5 with crappy struts upfront & no centerpoint steering or daravi. The C5 doesn't even have proper brakes or central hydraulics.

The rest are just rebadged poogoes

1955 203C , my second Pug purchased 1963 , did the car club thing with it , fitted modified 403 engine ( 2 Carbs, extractors, cam, floor shift etc.) motorkanas , rallies etc. during this time the capacity was increased to about 2ltrs. by fitting Vanguard sleeves - reliability went out the door , problems getting the sleeves to seal and breaking back axles. The 403 block was refitted early 1968. The car was sold in 1973 due to family and a more sedate 403.
In the ten years of owning it we had a ball and a couple of very scary incidents. I was re-acqainted with the car earlier this year, it had been in storage by the person I sold it to in 1974 - would require a lot of work.

R4 van on bulky goods shopping trip to Melbourne. Hammered all the way there with a holidays booked for a week for the expected rebuild, then hammered all the way back after no rebuild was needed. Not really a fave pic, more a good trip.

    Default The pug504

    The pug 504.

A prime example as to the error of a spray can job on any car.

An even better example why polish should not be applied to pain that has not had the clear coat sprayed on)).

But i love its quirks, and the stuffed front axle that prevents its use atm.

Blame the quality on the resize

The first photo of my 504 injected was taken at the 2001 Hellyer rally, the first rally I went in. It's one of my faverites. The car was almost standard then. The second was taken in 2002 at the Mountain Stages rally. It was a fair bit modified by then. The car is waiting on a new roll cage now as the one in it doesn't comply anymore. I hope it won't be too long until its back on the gravel. Both photos were taken by Morey Photography.

1989 BX 16 Valve. I love it because its different, it stands out and is a great car to drive. I will soon be departing with my beloved frog. Im really gonna miss it thats for sure! Whenever i drive one of my friends cars they feel so bumpy, so sloppy and like they are riding on jelly.

Morewell Hillclimb, one of the events that was part of the 2002 Grand Prix Rally. Note the clear air between rear wheel and tarmac.

This was not long after I bought this car and engine wise it was fairly standard. Only really had time to change suspension from Gravel to Tarmac spec and give it a tidy up, inclusing pulling 20kg of mud out of the thing. We ran in under 2l class and finished second in class behind a Lotus Elise Sport 135.

Went back for more earlier this year and we were running top 10 outright and comfortably leading our class when we suffered "catastrophic engine failure"

Just to give you all the false impression that these turbo CXs are a dime a dozen, here's mine. Well not really mine, more my dad's. Which is why it's not my fault that it needs a wash. When I actually get a chance to drive it I'll go somewhere picturesque and take some photos worthy of such a car.
