You know what really annoys me, being an owner of a 206 gti I get a few people thinking a 206 is a chics car. I don't see these same narrow-minded people callin' a honda civic hatch, pulsar or even a mazda 3 hatch a girls car. Like what the hells the difference??! they're all bloody economy hatchbacks just because I choose not to buy a freakin' honda blah blah doesn't make my car a chics car!

I don't know if the same happens to clio and xsara owners, but I really needed to let that out - ahh!

I hate to say this but the CUTE factor is biggest in the 206 out of all the cars you listed, people don't care that ist a GTi, fact is to the general public, its a girls car. MX5 owners suffer a similar sting... hairdresser.
We in AF know the difference, but peugeot need to sell to survive.. hence the attraction to women, as they now make up a huge part of that market.

ps. but you could trade it for a 180 or 250 Mi16 and suffer no more....

You could always tell critics that you are a SNAG and in touch with your feminine side hence your choice of the 206. LOL Seriously though, I like the styling of the 206 especially the GTi with the metal pedals and filler cap etc

BTW: Who cares if everyone thinks it's a girls car, I couldn't give a flying sh!t what people think of my cars

I think the thread I started a while ago titled "Is the 206 a girl's car?" was answered with a unanimous yes. BTW, that of course excludes the 180s which look mean as.

when my brother had a 206gti i thought it still looked abit chicky... the majority of 206's are driven by women.

although since i am a clio driver i can only say so much, in raw form the clio looks abut chicky too, although the subtle changes on the exterior to the RSC makes it look abit meatier, the gti falls into this category, and the 180 takes it to the enxt level again and looks like it has just pulled out of autobarn...j/k's

Over here you can't own them .. in QLD you can .. but expect a $1800 fee, then again that's small compared to the $400 per year some NSW people get ripped off with.
