Yeah, there was a small article on this in the "Pugilist" mag from the peugeot club of nsw, does Peugeot have anyother celebrities who are sponsored by them?

I'd probably drive one too if it was given to me for free !!! .. I do know a radio announcer here (thinks it's the bernie/zara/troy show) has a 307CC sport (sport .. *thats* an oxymoron). The dealer did some publicity stunt for it ... trouble is no-one knew about it ...

It's an old pic of Gretel. I wonder if it's an ongoing thing.

Jeez this sh!ts me, I can just imagine a Peugeot Marketing meeting. OK guys we can put some money into local motorsport showing what our cars are capable of or give some cars to washed up, no-name wannabe celebrities, who might be seen or may even mention us if we're lucky...

    Guess where the money goes

This ranks up there with their RWC sponsorship which I understand was less than fruitfull.
    Regards,
    Matt

I was reading this thread thinking your thoughts, Matt, but didn't think it worth taking the trouble to type it all out.

If it's all right with you, I'll just echo your thoughts... okay?

    Who is the guy, anyway?

I always thought the 206CC was a perfect image of the legendry "Hunch Back of Notre Dame"

    a) too small
    b) gutless (would have a GTI over a CC anyday)
    c) what were they thinking??
    d) gretel owns one!!!!!

Have not seen the 307CC yet, hope they lenghtened it a bit and flatened it too.

Just my thoughts.... Might go hide though

I always thought that the 307CC was what they really had in mind with the 206CC ... and with the 180 engine, it's probably not all that gutless, even if it is a couple of hundred kgs heavier than a GTi1180 ... looks a lot more striking on the road, too, IMHO.

IMHO the 307CC looks better in some colours then others ...
The Aluminium and Aegean Blue look great .. the Black, Mulberry and especially the red don't look so hot.
