not just that but it was also refered to as an OLD peugeot wagon

i didn't realise that 505's are classed as old now

to me old is something like an early 504 or a 404 or earlier

I wouldnt worry, these people live in the land of make believe, I think it was the Blue Heelers crew that discovered a "Torana" in a barn, the "Torana" was actually a 504, I didnt hear wails of dissaproval from the Holden lobby then.
what do you mean 404s ammd 504s are old ? they are CLASSIC.

Yeah, to me an old car is one of those funny ones where the front seats don't extend past shoulder height (which for me basically means any car for which I can't remember the time when they were in the showrooms).

Anything between that and about five years old is neither new or old to me.

Ages back in The Bill there was a brief car chase involving a MET Vectra pursuit car and a late series 2 Peugeot 505 wagon. The bodyroll was quite amusing! Anyway, when they finally pulled it over, the copper makes a joke about the guy trying to get away in the old bomb of a Peugeot.
