    Icon5 Froggy sales figures?

Hey all....just wondering, since we are halfway throught the year if anyone knows how well Renault, Peugeot & Citroen are doing in the sales race? Even better...does anyone have a state by state breakdown? Or know how it can be obtained? I know all 3 are in a state of sales growth but by how much? I am seeing a lot more Renault's on the road over here in WA lately which I'd put down to bitter competition between 2 modern & dedicated dealerships. I'd say the gap between Renault & Peugeot would have to be narrower in WA than anywhere else. Thanks in advance for any info anyway fellow froggers!

The Megane hatch broke into three digit territory again, with a record monthly figure of 120.

Peugeot had its highest selling month on record, selling 757 cars, breaking SEP03's record of 753 cars. Unsurprisingly, without a Rugby World Cup, 607 sales have collapsed from 54 cars last year to 14 for this year - I spoke to a corporate sales manager about what discounts I could manage. When it came to the 607, "Look we'll do two for the price of one"

Citroen has sold 1190 cars vs 1203 at the same time last year.
Renault has sold 1586 cars vs 1761 at the same time last year.
Peugeot has sold 3306 cars vs 3794 at the same time last year.

So, yep, everyone's down a little.

Not bad considering Citroen said there was only going to be 25 cars before official launch.

Probably 59:1 I'd say which is a real shame. I was in at Southerns yesterday speaking to Marc & he said they might get one on the floor here but I doubt it. Theres a really nice VTS for sale on Drive.com but is priced @ $35,990. They're dreaming! Mmmm...nice in black though.....very nice
Should see a few more Cits in WA soon anyway with the dealer war about to go full throttle! Cant wait

BTW is it just me or has anyone else noticed that just about 1 out of every 2 Renaults in Australia seems to be in WA at the moment according to Carsales???

$35,990 Holy BatCrap. I paid 32000 DANMTP Drive Away No More To Pay and is still wanted stuff thrown in.

But yes, i'd say the ratio probably is around 58:2 or 59:1. I mean i didnt even get a test drive of a VTS before putting down my deposit. "Im sorry sir, there are only 3 VTS' in Australia, we just cant get any on the showroom floor for test drives". Bastards!!!.

I paid 29000 drive away for mine. Ex Citroen Oz car, 3 months old and 3500km's on the clock. Just as well I had driven a VTS 6 months before (another NSW rego'd car that was sitting at Allpikes for ages), because I wouldn't have bought it if I had not driven that previous one. I'm not going to buy a car unless I have driven one.

I agree justin those figures are really handy mate. What im interested in is the small obscure figures like the sale of 1 Renault master and 1 Peugeot partner??
Can you explain these 2 sales? They must be some sort of private imports justin???

They would be evaluation vehicles registered by the distributors.
