Default Trafic 1971 French Comedy starring R12 R16 DS

Happened to see the French Film Trafic
It actually shows them pressing rear quarter panels for R12's
Then the welding line for R12 body shells
    Final inspection of R16's
Then the carpark, 100's and 100's of R16s.

This is a French Car Festival, DS Citroens doings nose stands.
So many French cars being smashed

    You will be amazed https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069400/

Renault liked the movie so much they named one of their cars after the movie.

Trafic, mon uncle & playtime are jacques tati films which have screening of late on SBS world movies. My parents were into avant garde overseas films as Mum used were work for the Melbourne Film Festival in the 70s. So saw trafic & lots of other films then

Yes a good and funny movie from the late 60's with a mix of English, French, German and Dutch languages, Lots of great scenes involving all makes of cars from the 60's. The car transporter full of DS's caught my eye.
The movie occasionally pops up on SBS World movies channel 32 from time to time. Last time was about 4 weeks ago.
The star of the movie is the camper/car which has some interesting ideas to say the least.
