    Icon9 Yowtch!! What a shame.

At last Fowles have a pic of Kath's XM that is going for Auction this Tuesday.
This is the car tha won the peoples choice concourse car at the 2003 Cit-in at Maleny.
It appears to have had a decent whack in the front but when you look closely, it also seems like it may be a lot of superficial damage and not all that much structural.
Anyone wanting a satisfying project car, this would nearly have to be it; late model, well looked after and one of the last in the Country.

Ouch, not cool to see a car as rare as that be in such a condition! Any idea about how much it will fetch?

If it made 3 grand I'd be surprised.
Unfortunately, I don't presently have a spare 3K (well I have but SWMBO has just relented on something else) nor have I got the months to spend fixing it (commonly known as the "Old Fart Factor") otherwise I'd be there, chewing on a hamburger, sucking on a Winny Blue, farting, bumscratching & bidding all at the same time, just like all the backyard car dealers do.

Still haven't heard what happened here but looking at the bonnet ding I'd suspect, 'roo, Motorbike or pedestrian.
First & last options wouldn't leave it too bad the motorbike possibility is a rather large worry.
Ask any panel beater, they hate doing them due to all the bloody great holes & tears that they leave behind due to handlebars, controls and levers that seem to find plenty to dig into.
