Iíve been using this psa com tool for a few months now just as a cheap toy but have found it my quick go to unit the Bluetooth connection is solid and the user interface if not a bit odd but very useful config key programming etc works well havenít had it play up yet for under 50 bucks itís a good tool for a diyer or low peugeot Citroen turnover mechanic.
It isnít a good all rounder like a Delphi or as complete as diagbox but it will load and setup in 10 minutes and just work.

Do you reckon it'd do keys as advertised?

For a genuine one yes but for a clone itís under 100.

Thanks, is the cloned one identical? Noticed there are warnings on net searching it - could be hype or fact?

    Default New Diag road test

Iíve been using the Delphi for at least 5 or6 years also had a genuine one at last dealer I worked itís just hype the keygen will flag as a trogen virus but that just because thatís how some keygens work I have a safe link to the latest clone version 2016 v1 have been using it for over a year with no problems. Itís better and safer to use with a USB cable takes a bit to setup but having needing to load genuine diagboxes Kia Mazda and Holden scan tools in the past itís the same pain. Bluetooth is unreliable. Itís saved my ass a few times at home when my diagbox played diagbox games even our dealer diagbox is not reliable.
Also I have finally a good relatively reliable diagbox 8 running if anyone needs it but unless you have a P4008 with smart key there is no point.

Hm, after looking i gather it's only for Cit & Pug and not for Renault which requires a different one? They are model specific?

Have been thinking/looking for info in the last few weeks. Probably will get a Launch.
However, i think it is a bit of a scam. All cars made within the last 5/10 years have a screen for nav. etc.. It would be easy for manufacturers installing their diagnostic software directly into the car computer if the wished so - for relatively little money compared to
aftermarket diagnostic tools that cover 80 to 100 makes and many more models.
Wonder what this one is like? It sounds good but it is only as good as the software provided, doubt if the manufacturers gave them direct access?

BTW, Aldi is offering a cod reader for about $50 soon. Unfortunately i suspect they only read generic codes? Not much use with all the other systems on a modern car.

The Aldi reader will read codes and let you reset them. Little more. PSA cars weren't specifically catered for.
The original PSACOM site is PSA-COM: Peugeot/Citroen professional diagnostic scantool
There is a lot of useful info on that site - OBDTester: OBD-2 Diagnostic software and interfaces
