    Default Facebook?

Does the Aussiefrogs facebook page have any connection to this Aussiefrogs Forum?
Once one enters Facebook the link is--- https://www.facebook.com/groups/10181680435/?multi_permalinks=10162302036795436%2C101622959118 10436&notif_id=1561455383962142&notif_t=group_acti vity
Or one can just search for Aussiefrogs.

I created the group about 12 years ago with some Sydney-based AF member friends. Back then there was a bit of a social group in the North Sydney area and we would often catch up for drinks after work. It wasn't my intention for it to grow into the main Aussiefrogs presence on Facebook but it seems this is what has happened. Anyone is welcome to join. There are currently around 550 members. I'm keen for suggestions on how it may be better utilised.

Actually unless there is a legal registration of the name 'Aussiefrogs' by the owners of this forum 'brenno' may well be within his rights to use the name on another platform such as Facebook!

What about just changing th FB page to "Friends on (or of) Aussiefrogs" as its a method for AFers to keep in contact vua Messanger easy to find and no harm done with forum owners??

Iím 99% sure that when Aussiefrogs founder gibgib was on Facebook, he was a member of the group. As such, donít see any reason to change anything.

As an aside, I work in North Sydney. Maybe we should reinstate the original purpose of the Facebook group

Please do reinstate the original purpose of the group. But keep Aussiefrogs out of Facebook.

Dinosaurs are of course extinct. I look forward to the extinction of Facebook. It's a blight on the internet. My suggestions for the Facebook group would be to shut it down and delete it. What can be done on Facebook can be done in another way without the invasion of privacy. Forums are good...
