Huge display of historic rally cars this Sunday at Avalon(vic)Motorsport complex. Full details at www.rallyretroday.org.au. See Cars section for list.

All 3 works Falcon GT's from the 1968 London to Sydney Marathon will be there, with a LSM crew member from each car in attendance.Heaps of really rare and significant cars, perhaps the best ever assembled in Aus!
I will have my 1974 Mitsubishi Lancer there, say hi if you make it.

Thanks Peter for bringing to our attention this superb event and collection of truly significant cars.
I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to meet you, wandering through the quality and quantity of cars was something which arguably will never be seen again.
To see all the Falcon GT's that competed in the London to Sydney Marathon along with many of the original crews was a moment or snapshot of history.
I couldn't stay for the entire event, but to see the cars on track pre lunch, attacking the course mostly sideways was a real treat.
Ill try to get some pics up during the week.

It was a great day, a big turnout of spectators to see a lot of really rare rally beasts! Many genuine ex works cars and a few lovingly re-greated versions of former hero cars as well! Great to catch up with a few former RCCD members too! HRA Rocks!
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

Come clean and tell us how you get the pictures on to the forum. Do we have to threaten you with 'we have ways and means' to get the answers.
Thanks for doing it anyway. I have not been able to get some on the forum currently !!!
