Default Oh no! Not another Tadpole introducing himself!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe "G'Day" would be the correct opening?

Anyway, I'm an ex-pat from Austria (that's the one without kangaroos) calling England home, where I've been living together with three supermodels for 13 years now. Well, the third supermodel was only added 12 years ago, we must remain factually correct.

    I've been a lifelong car nut with a bit of a knack for French chod and my current fleet comprises a 1967 Renault 16 GL, a 1995 Peugeot 405 2.0 auto saloon, a 1997 Peugeot 405 2.0 auto estate and a 1978 Mobylette AV89.

The reason I joined this forum is because you know everything and I know nothing, so my valuable* contribution will mainly comprise of pestering you with stupid questions.

I think I can see Kangaroos on that little Wild Austria toy? Are you trying to mess with our tourism industry?

I believe he is casting nasturtiums at that great Australian institution, the backyard barbie.

Austria Wild, it's OK - you could come and live in Australia without owning a barbecue (although accepting invitations to other peoples barbecues is mandatory)! And you've got a point - why would anyone want to brave the smoke and flies - not to mention 40C heat - to produce an inedible burnt offering, leaving a perfectly serviceable kitchen unused?

    Cheers

    Hi Thanks for that explanation
Reminds me of the old farmer who after years of struggle finally made some money. He asked mum what she would like to get done. Well get a newfangled inside toilet so we do not have to go outside in the night and rain. OK and it was done.

Next year another good harvest. Asked mum what she wanted again. Well if we could afford it we could get a BBQ built in the backyard so we could have people over for a 'DO'.
Well the old man though about it for a while and said. Why? Now we have money we do things differently, in the old days we used to eat inside and later go outside. Now we will do the opposite and eat outside and then later go inside
