Default Australian Classic Car - June

The June edition of Australian Classic car has BOTH a P504 and Renault Fuego featured...

This goes hand in hand with the article on the Citroen Light 15 in this months Just Cars....

Who said French classics were dead in Oz....!!!!!

Two months ago Australian Classic Car covered the R12.....and before that the DS...

Now if only they woke up to themselves and did the GS / CX and BX we'd be right....

Here is the Fuego article. It looks like a bit more research was required......

    From the article

"The Australian Fuego was powered by the same engine as in the Renault 20, the two-litre dohc Douvrin engine, which was also used, with a few modifications, in the Peugeot 505 and Citroen Cx."

What the? The Douvrin is a twin cam, and it was used in the CX?

As I said, looks like a teensy bit more research was required. But it is correct that the Douvrin motor was also used in the last of the CX's.

Ah ok, I wasn't aware of that. Did we get any Douvrin engined CX's over here (officially not private import)?
