    Default Autocassico Maling Rd

There was a fantastic display of British & European cars on display at Autoclassico in Maling Road Canterbury on Sunday.
Superb classics from both sides of the Channel including a 2CV and DS Cit, Porsche, Mercedes, Lamborghini, BMW, Alfa, Fiat, Jaguar, Ford (Anglia 105E), Studibaker and some superb American muscle. Legends such as Jim Richards & Cameron McConville too.
Well done to all the enthusiasts who defied the early crap weather and were rewarded with a great sunny afternoon.
Pics to follow later in the week.

I agree there were some great cars there. With cold ,wet and windy weather early in the day it didn't look promising for a car show but when I went to have a look in the middle of the day it became dry and sunny and owners could open up their cars .The number of cars was a bit down on last year but there were plenty on display .I would have liked to take my 504 cab and tried to squeeze in as I did last year but because of the early weather I left it at home

Row 3 , the car in next photo to Austin A30 is a 300 B or 300 C Mercedes , also known as an Ädenauer "special , the chancellors favourite car from the mid fifties.

How did you find out about it? I would have gone if I'd known.

    Great photos pgti6.

I was there in the DSpecial flying the flag for Citroen (and French Cars in general). Lots of kind words from members of the public and enthusiasts.

The Maling Road Motoclassico was extremely well attended. It has been running for 3 years and I was able to squeeze in amongst the Mercedes, Fiats, Alfas, and Porsches.

Despite the weather it was a fantastic event.
