The organizers of "L'Automobile piý Bella del Mondo" brought together more
than 50 new cars from Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW,
CitroŽn, Daewoo, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lancia, Land
Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG Rover, Nissan, Opel,
Pininfarina, Porsche, Renault, Saab, Seat, Suzuki, Toyota and Volkswagen to
be judged in a range of categories.

The judges included Bruno Alfieri, Ermanno Arslan, Gianni Berengo Gardin,
Rossana Bossaglia, Patrick Caulfield, Giulio Cappellini, Fulvio Cinti,
Gillo Dorfles, Piero Dorazio, Heinz Mack, Vico Magistretti, Kenneth Noland,
Mario Piazza, Antoine Prunet, Carlo Rivetti, Bruno Sacco and Massimo
Vignelli. They were tasked with choosing the car that was not just a good
looking car, but which has also made a significant contribution to car
design, which is distinctive and different from its competitors and which
stands out on the road as a new, different and vibrant design.

The award for the CitroŽn C2 was presented to CitroŽn at the Milan
Triennale, one of Europe's major arts and design events in the Italian city
renown for its art, design, engineering and automotive heritage.

The CitroŽn C2 was launched in Australia early this year in its most
exuberant version, the CitroŽn C2 VTR, the performance version of the range
which is a fully equipped pocket rocket ideal for city life, as well as fun
driving on the open road. Fully equipped with a 1.6 litre engine and
CitroŽn's SensoDrive sequential manual gearbox, the CitroŽn C2 VTR has a
    recommended retail price of $23,490.

The Citroen C2 is the most beautiful car in the world, Maybe the judges should bring their seeing eye dogs to the judging next year.

    The C2 looks cool.

Speaking of looks and styling etc., is anyone else reminded of Citroen a little bit when they see the latest Toyota Prius? It's almost as if it's the car that Citroen might have made, in an alternate universe where they didn't get bought out by PSA and made more conservative.

I really dig criticising PSA for their ugly cars, but credit where it's due, I reckon the C2 and C3 are gorgeous.
What does CITY car mean? Smaller than a 156 or C class?

Great news I rather like the C2 just they have so few of them available and only in three colours.
I am seriously considering one. and went to dealer recently for a test drive as was told come back in a month when we have a demo.
I am very impressed with the car and the package but I dont buy nuthing I can't drive or try first.

Well, going on my experience I would say a CITY car fits either one fat person or two skinny people

Back seat is reserved for small pets or a briefcase.

That said, at the Melbourne Motor Show I managed to fit into the back seat of a C2 and I'm 6'1. That said I couldn't stand it any more than a minute at most.
