Default Fiat Chrysler after the PSA Opel takeover

While PSA were negotiating with GM, Fiat were courting GM chasing the same economies of scale. GM has said no and Fiat have
since approached the VW group who have also said no. It is leaving Fiat Chrysler the orphan of the European car industry.

I thought Fiat owned Ferrari ????

So will Fix It Again Tony call PSA..........

I have been wondering what happened to Peugeot's request for an investor in their 124 m.p.g vehicle.Half a Billion I recall.

So if they had of invested in their own situation would they not grossly effected the motor industry & had a massive income flow for 1/6th'ish of the VauxOpel deal.

    Rather interlesting..................

Actually the most forlorn European car maker is BMW.
Sure, its vehicles are well regarded, but it's a minnow of a car company.

[BTW, don't you love my flawless apostrophe placement?]

It didn't work but was trotted out as a future possibility as part of the spin doctoring to facilitate the rescue by the French government and DongFeng

Ferrari was spun out of Fiat Chrysler see
    http://corporate.ferrari.com/en/investors/ferrari-spin
and is now a registered company in Holland with a stock market listing. You can buy shares in it if you want!
