I'm a member of PCCNSW... and after reading the Pugilist that came in today's mail I beleive Ray Bell is too - he was at the last meeting, and he spoke, and I didn't realise it was him!

Not me... I just went along to catch up with Owen...

But I was a member of the Citroen Car Club back in 1966 and went to a meeting somewhere around St Peters... had a Light 15 those days. Temporarily.

The location for that meeting was probably Tempe River Canoe Club where meetings were held until June 1966.

As CCC of NSW is ramping up for our 40th Anniversary in September, the Treasurer has been putting in a huge effort to document the club's history. I was checking it last night and found many interesting pieces of info including the meeting locations.

    RCCQ.

I don't know about other states but in Queensland I think you have to be a member of a recognised car club to be eligible for concessional registration. The olí R12 is going to be 30 in a couple of months so Iíll have to stay a club member to get special interest plates.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com[img] />

<P style=[/img]

    Yep, PCCV - I've been a member (number 982) since about 1989, I think.

    PAC

I joined in 1989 when I first came to Canberra but let it lapse after I sold my 504. Now that I have the 505 I'm back in.

There are some other froggers that I know of in the PAC, pug303 and cruiserman (I think) - probably others as well but I don't know them yet.
