Icon10 Who was that masked man??

Yesterday my girlfriend took the 205 down to Indooroopilly Shopping town, the local supermarkted, to buy some groceries. When she got home she said the stragest thing had happened. She said that when she was getting into the car a guy come over and asked her about the car. She then proceeded to have a long conversation with the guy about 205s, where it came from, where it gets serviced etc. She said that he seemed really into them. Of course most of the conversation was lost on her because to her the car is just a way to get around, she doesn't share the obsession so to speak. I was just wondering whether the guy was a member of AF and if so I just wanted to say g'day and thanks for the advice re a service.

I used to frequent Indroo Shopping Town quite a lot....not now because I am like ~7000km away. Love to be back home though and with my 2 pugs.

I go to the shopping town quite a lot in my 205 GTi but usually park at the Cinemas or the Woolies lower carpark. How come I never seen any other 205s there. I have been going there for like over 5 years!!

    Cheers

Hey, that's where I always park as well. However, I've only had my car since November last year. I've never seen another 205 Gti in the carpark though. They around around however, I always wave like a madman when I see them

Indro is not a good place to park, let alone drive around in.

    Never seen a 205 there.

A lot of 405's though. Newer pugs are slowly taking over.

If U see a white 504 give us a wave

    I will hopefully wave back.

If not, its because i am trying to avoid all the insane drivers that seem to converge on Indro.

Yeah. I've seen some of the most crazy driving occur at that place when it gets busy. I saw a guy in a Camira stationwagon try to do a three-point-turn on the ramp leading up to the cinema level And the agro that goes on when there is a spare park is a sight to see. I make sure if I am going there on a Saturday I walk or park outside the centre. however I am usually there late at night just getting some groceries when there aren't too many 4WD or big mercs to bash into me.

    Camira station wagon

My parents drive a camira station wagon

Wouldn't see them doing three point turns though. Reversing at indro is always an accident waiting to happen.
