    Just off Rue Saint Denis in central Paris is Rue Blondel where the "working girls" of Paris hang out.

    I paid a pimp good money to get me a French Tart

    ...and this is what he supplied!

    OK, now I've worked it out.
    Must be my poor french pronuciation.
    What I got was a "Tarte"

    If I bought this from a Boulangerie ( instead of a Pimp) ...about 2 euros ...and it's butter pastry
