    Who was this?

Apparently a car pulled in front of the semi driver & he had to hit the anchors, smoke bellowing from the tyres

See, the AF sticker worked by boosting the braking power of the truck. Perhaps it is a Renault truck and therefore deserves an AF sticker?

I'm sure I saw semi today while we were driving to Cooma and back (yes in a day with 5 hours in town....) anyway the semi prime mover had a MACK brand but I am sure it had the Renault diamond logo?

    Does this make sense?

MackRenault makes perfect sense. I seem to remember Renault bought Mack trucks years ago.

    From the Mack web page:

    1990
Mack Trucks, Inc. becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Renault V.I. The company became one of North America's largest producers of heavy-duty diesel trucks, in addition to major product components, and is an integral member of the worldwide Renault Group.

However, it didn't stay so good....

    2000
On December 18, 2000 the United States Department of Justice approved the acquisition of Mack by AB Volvo, Sweden.

So there it is. Once a Froggy but now.....

I'm in France and we hired a pug 307. Needless to say the first thing on the car was an Aussiefrogs sticker. That and a Apple sticker. So evern in France we hope to educate them. See ya
