Default Bill Gates; a big hearted soul....asshole perhaps?

Good ol' Gatsey; he's come up with an idea for getting rid of spam. Of course there's a quid to be made in it; now why is it nobody's surprised at that??

If this goes ahead, no doubt the cost of implementing will fall on service providers and that will equate to $$$ for the end users and businesses. And you know what? It'll be a big waste of money. If a 15 year old kid can crack the DVD encoding which was supposed to be bulletproof, I'm sure a bunch of spammers who write mail engines that pump out over a million emails an hour can crack whatever they come up with. Sounds like another "Y2K bug" scam.

    I agree Rich.
If this guy & his company full of supposed "super Nerds" can develop these systems to make them operate like they do, you can bet it wouldn't take all that much to stuff up spammers; a 'sign in' requirement on everyone's e-mail inbox so any breaches could be reported to controlling authorities for example?
He's got this thing that whatever he thinks has to have $$$$s written all over it; sad when you think about it. What's he expect? Pockets in his shroud so he can take it with him?
What a life...if he had one!

They coulds make it a lot simple ... messages that are not addressed to you personally and are not from people in your address book fall into a black hole ... what does this mean to people who try and contact you for the first time ... they have to fill in via a webform (and yes you can make valdation keys that can't be ripped by some little perl script kiddy). This would have to happen server side ... no point once you've downloaded it.
