    Hi All,

What are people doing to replace OEM part which is no longer available?

    GEARSHIFT CONTROL RETURN

My rubber round bush that sits over the plastic 'ball' on the shaft is stuffed (circled in red). Do I just get a block of rubber, mill out the insides and push that over the plastic ball which when pushes into the metal bracket on the gearbox connection shaft?

You can buy that rubber ball fitting from EAI.

Dilemma - your old linkage (and the new linkage) shows the ball joint in the first hole and the new part (part 244973) is in the same place. You must have a BE1 gearbox?

The linkage I took out from my car has the ball joint at the end of the selector - this is OEM part 244974 - for the XU and BE3.

EAI has not had the BE3/XU linkage bracket in before.
